We help collections prepare themselves for future audiences, showing art any time, anywhere. Our team has gone through the challenges of digitization strategy & operational management and can help your collection develop and implement a wide range of digital solutions.

Futuristic History has an extensive background in technology on the one side, and arts on the other. Combining the two topics started around 1998 with a first website for a private art collection and culminated in building the world's first ever VR museum for old masters. This project was widely recognized as pioneering for the art industry and Joel Kremer has been a keynote speaker and strategic advisor to many collections on the topic ever since.

Our Services

  • Our strategic analysis always starts with an initial assessment, where we assess your existing digital presence and evaluate the current digital landscape opportunities, for your strategic objectives, including the various target audiences.

We then come up with key objectives and goals for your collection and transform these into an executable strategy, including a clear roadmap for implementation.

  • We take full ownership once the strategy and implementation plan has been reviewed and approved, and oversea implementation of all digital initiatives. This includes the sourcing and management of vendors, in order to bring your initiatives to life in an efficient way

  • Wether you own sculptures, Delftblue pottery, old master paintings, contemporary art or modern works of art; we help you digitize your collection in a way which makes it useable and operational for distribution in various digital channels. We also advise on Collection Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS) and have worked with a number of vendors in the space.

  • Once your collection is digitized, we will draw up a plan on how to effectively and eficciently reach audiences through various different channels. That can be a mobile first, responsive website, a VR app for different platforms, or and immersive art installation…Actually; why not all three?
